Central library provides plagiarism check service using the “iThenticate” tool to its user. iThenticate is a leading plagiarism detection and prevention web tool that allows researchers to compare their content to massive databases to ensure that their work is original before submitting it. To get the plagiarism checking done and have the similarity report generated, please write to us at centrallibrary@aiimsbhubaneswar.edu.in along a soft copy of the document ( ie. thesis, dissertation, manuscript of article, assignment etc.) to be checked in PDF, DOC file format.Setting up your account as a user
This guide will help you set up your iThenticate account as a user.- Check your email inbox for a welcome email from Turnitin.
- In the welcome email, select the Activate my Account This will take you to a login screen.
- Enter a username. Your username can be the same as your email address or something else you would like to use for logging in.
- Enter a password and then enter it again for confirmation. Passwords must contain:
- at least 8 characters
- at least 1 letter
- at least 1 number
- Read through and agree to the Turnitin End-User License Agreement.
- Select the Create Accountbutton to be taken to your new account.
